Dubbed as the largest and the most dedicated fastener show in Asia, Fastener Expo Shanghai 2016 took place from June 23 to June 25 at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. The show utilized Hall 1 (for machinery, wire, molds & dies, consumables) and Hall 2 (for finished fasteners & parts) with a total exhibiting area of 42 thousand square meters and as many as 750 exhibiting companies in attendance.
This time Fastener World Magazine exhibited with more than 10 Taiwanese companies including Anchor Fasteners, My Hand, Co-Wealth, Yang Yi, Kai Shyun, China Pneumatic, Goang-Yih, Tzong Ji, Fareast Metal, Zinko Hardware, Kao Wein, Hsiung Jen, and Yih Troun, hoping to promote high quality Taiwanese products to the int’l market.
According to our correspondent at the show, exhibitors this year were mostly manufacturers while traders and distributors were the 2nd largest exhibiting group. Overseas visitors were mainly from USA, the Middle East, Turkey, Italy, India, Japan, and Hong Kong, interested in purchasing bolts, nuts, screws, washers, electric tools, industrial fasteners, rivets, equipment, toolings & dies, materials, and surface treatments.
Since the 1st show held in 2010, the number of exhibitors of the show has been increasing year after year. Following the successful result last year, the show this year broke the record again in the number of exhibitors. As a benchmark show that reveals possible future trends of the industry, Fastener Expo Shanghai will be a great annual event that you should definitely go visit.
