Fastener Fair France returns to Paris for this second edition at the Paris Expo-Porte de Versailles venue (Pavilion 3.2) next spring, on 27 and 28 May 2020.
The outcome of the first edition of France's only international exhibition dedicated exclusively to fastener and fixing technologies was more than convincing. Over the course of two days, 161 exhibitors from 15 countries – 53% of them from outside France – and some 1,500 visitors were provided with a unique opportunity to discover the latest developments in the sector, attend conferences and follow up on pre-scheduled appointments. And many of the exhibitors have already signed up for the second edition in 2020.
The majority of visitors were company managers (33%), heads of departments (21%), buyers (16%) and engineers (11%) from across a wide range of sectors, including automotive, distribution, aerospace, mechanical engineering, hardware/DIY, agricultural machinery and maintenance/repairs. A significant proportion of them worked for distributors serving the end-user market (31%) and wholesalers serving the reseller market (17%).
FASTENER FAIR FRANCE brings together manufacturers, distributors, suppliers and end users of fastening and fixing systems. The exhibition is aimed primarily at industrial stakeholders that require assembly and installation systems, fastener-manufacturing technologies, and logistics and storage equipment.
For this second edition, one of the sector's representative organisations, Prismefix (the French Association of Fastener Distributors), continues to support the show and has already renewed its partnership with the event's organisers. This reflects a clear desire among market stakeholders for a dedicated meeting point in France for fastener and fixing professionals.
The next edition will be staged against the backdrop of a global market marked by the emergence and development of Industry 4.0, a greater awareness of environmental issues, and the need to "rebrand" the image of a sector that needs to fill new vacancies. More concretely, given the sectors of industry that it serves, the French fastener market is currently thriving. In a recent survey conducted by the U.S. market research company, Freedonia, it was estimated that the demand for industrial fasteners in France would increase by 3% by 2020, and generate more than 2.4 billion dollars in total revenue, as opposed to 2.1 billion dollars in 2015.
