The Fastenal Company of Winona, MN, has named Leland J. Hein as president. He replaces William D. Oberton, who will remain as CEO of Fastenal.

Hein joined Fastenal in 1985, most recently serving as executive vice president-sales for the western region of the Company.The company also announced three other executive vice president appointments:
-Nicholas J. Lundquist has been named executive vice president-operations.
-Kenneth R. Nance was named executive vice president-sales for the eastern region, replacing Lundquist.
-Gary A. Polipnick will serve as executive vice president-sales for the western region, replacing Hein.
