Taiwan as Sixth Largest Source for Turkey Fastener Imports

In recent years, benefited from the strong domestic demand for auto/motorcycle parts and construction industry, Turkey has a continuously growing screw and nut industry. There are over 70 middle and large size fastener manufacturers in the county. The fastener export value of Turkey amounted to USD243.9 million last year and its main export markets included the EU and Middle East. The fastener import value of Turkey reached USD570 million last year and the main countries of origin included China (37%), Germany (15%), France (11%), Italy (7%), Japan (5%), Taiwan (4%), etc.
