Chun Yu Has New President in Office

Chun Yu held a shareholders' meeting on June 22 where 11 directors were re-elected and the board of directors voted the former vice president Mr. Chi-tai Chen to assume the role of new president.
Former president Mr. Huei-jeng Lin discontinues the president position because he "has completed his task", and the baton is passed on to Chi-tai Chen who said will set the target to make Chun Yu a "world-class construction fastener giant". The company said the Russia-Ukraine war slashes global steel supply and pushes up steel price while the global inflation is continuously spurring material price. In longer terms, the major steel producing countries are actively going for carbon neutrality and steel manufacturing cost will surely go up, said the company.
Chun Yu pointed out that the ongoing rise in production cost will continue to uphold the steel price. The company will utilize resources, focus on niche products and expand capacity to reduce production cost, improve operation efficiency, conserve energy and reduce carbon footprints to achieve a better performance.
