The 17th China International Hardware Show (CIHS) concluded successfully at National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on October 22-24. Acclaimed as the Asia’s largest and World’s second largest international specialized hardware show, the show has succeeded in reinforcing the domestic market, and creating a trading channel to connect with global clients for China as well as a platform for overseas enterprises to enter Chinese hardware market and international markets. A variety of products were displayed at the show this year, including building hardware & DIY fasteners, locks, security products & accessories, mechanical & electric equipment, processing & manufacturing equipment, hand/power/pneumatic tools, etc. The exhibition spanned the total area of 150,000 sq. meters and brought over 3,000 corporations from nearly 20 countries, along with more than 50,000 professionals and buyers from 85 countries around the globe, demonstrating the vibrant vitality of the hardware industry. During the three-day event, “China International Building Hardware & Fasteners Show” and “China International Locks & Security Doors Show” were also concurrently held with the promotion of innovative products as well as the concept of “Low-Carbon Emission and a More Eco-Friendly Industry.” Moreover, forums and seminars focusing on trade, innovative technology, brand building, etc. took place at the show to boost interactions among traders, importers, exporters and distributors. According to Fastener World’s representative onsite, the venue was already packed with a swarm of visitors from the first day of the show, and exhibitors also went full throttle promoting their products in an attempt to stand out from all manufacturers. The next show will kick off again at National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on October 22-24, 2018.
