Established in 1970, Henn Yann Enterprise Co., Ltd specializes in plastic injection molding. Henn Yann’s major products are nylon rings semi-finished components applied to the nylon self-locking nuts for automobiles, bridges and abutments.

The company’s current monthly capacity can reach up to 40 tons which mainly are industrial plastic fasteners available as standard and customized products. The market share reaches above 40%, in which the domestic (Taiwan) sales to well-known San Shing Fastech Corp., Boltun Corporation and others take up 40% of the total sales. The overseas (international) sales take up 60%, of which a portion is exported through Taiwanese traders and the rest is directly sold to global major clients. Regarding the products, 80% are nylon rings and Henn Yann can even customize and make injection molded products in plastic and related materials.

Relocated to New Plant in June 2017 with Thorough Environment & Equipment Upgrade; Henn Yann Dares to Invest in Equipment

To satisfy clients’ need, provide faster lead time, improve quality service, improve employees’ working environment and drive up productivity, Henn Yann spent NTD 100 million setting up a brand new plant spanning over 3,300 square meters in the new Qieding Industrial Zone in Kaohsiung City. It finished equipment relocation and mass production in June. The new plant literally improved every single problem that the previous plant had encountered.

General manager Mr. Chang was fully dedicated to the process of optimizing the whole plant. The biggest eye-catcher of the optimization is introducing the Quick Mold Change System from Germany. “This new equipment was just rolled out 2 or 3 years ago. It is equipped with permanent magnetic plates made of rare earth material and grips the mold by changing magnetic force through electric currents. Unlike the traditional method which requires a lot of time manually fastening/unfastening the bolts/nuts to grip the mold, this Quick Mold Change System can achieve the same results merely by changing the magnetic force on the magnetic plates. The biggest advantage is that it only takes 10 minutes to complete the process of mold change.”

Furthermore, the new plant also fully optimized the property of its cooling system, converting from the previous hard water to the current soft water. Ventilation of the plant’s production area is improved as well. The first floor of the plant alone is as tall as 8 meters, so it does not turn sultry or stinky even if the equipment is in full operation. Additionally, the plant adopts solar power generating equipment to put green energy and environment protection into practice. “The new equipment of the new plant includes automated equipment, quick mold change system, optical sorting machines, and optical measuring instruments imported from Japan (replacing traditional vernier calipers). The new plant’s production is almost completely automated. In the future we will gradually gear toward the trends of all products being bar coded, traceability, and Industry 4.0,” said Mr. Chang with confidence.

Henn Yann offers a wide variety and complete range of nylon ring product specifications, as well as competitive prices. Regarding the company’s product features, Mr. Chang said, “We have better and consistent quality. Most of all, we are honest with the materials we use. Our clients can designate the use of virgin materials or recycled materials. We treat everyone with absolute honesty!” Henn Yann is streamlined from mold R&D all the way down to production and packaging. For special parts, the company rolled out customized products with special patterns, proving its strong ability in mold R&D. To ensure product quality, it introduced measuring instruments and optical sorting machines. Henn Yann continuously develops new products and new technology, and improves product quality. It also developed cold resistant materials and products tailored to resist extremely low temperatures with the aim to extend its reach into Eastern Europe, Norther Europe and Russia.

Mr. Chang stressed that Henn Yann can offer complete after-sale service. Besides offering full inspection service, if a client discovers defective products, Henn Yann can use its internal system to immediately trace out the source of problems within 1-2 days. Furthermore, the company also provides inventory service for clients. “In recent years we got some clients’ urgent orders. Next, we will continue to increase our equipment, capacity and product yield in response.”

Henn Yann’s next target is aiming at the worldwide global markets which include the U.S, Europe, Latin America, Dubai, Japan, and South Korea. Currently it is actively extending its global reach into India, Eastern Europe, Northern Europe and Russia. Facing the globalized competitive environment, Mr. Chang said the company will continue to increase customer satisfaction. In addition to providing options for production per order or pre-arranged production, Henn Yann will go full throttle pursuing lean manufacturing and a high level of automation, hoping to achieve zero product defection, 100% product yield, zero customer complaint and comprehensive technical support.
