Four decades ago when Hsin Jui Hardware Enterprise Co., Ltd. was established, General Manager Alan Hsu, with limited capital as well as his unlimited creativity and previous experience in his career life, built up a strong base for Hsin Jui’s cold forging technique and led the company to create its irreplaceable position in professional manufacturing of special parts. The various samples displayed in the company’s showcases represent every breakthrough Hsin Jui has achieved in the past. It is also a proof that Hsin Jui can manufacture parts with only a single time of cold forging during the period when seeking for processing factories is difficult. This year the company has been also certified to ISO/TS 16949, which is a new milestone for the quality management of Hsin Jui.

A Diverse Range of Product Portfolio with High Quality and Precision

Located in Northern Taiwan, Hsin Jui’s costs for wires, processing and land acquisition are much higher than other companies in Southern Taiwan. As a result, Hsin Jui decided to manufacture special parts with high added values and better prices. Aa a saying goes, “A workman must sharpen his tools if he wants to do his work well.” Most of Hsin Jui’s machines are 5-dies / 6-dies machines from Chun Zu Machinery. Thus far, Hsin Jui has had 22 sets of machines, including 8mm/5 dies, 13mm/5 and 6 dies, 16mm/5 dies and 20mm/5 dies, and therefore, it can take orders for rivets with the outer dia. as small as 5mm and for building hardware with the outer dia. as big as 59mm. General manager Hsu always encourages the R&D and production unit to give it a try and innovate, so the company has successfully developed various products, such as male/female screws and fully-customized parts. Hsin Jui is definitely born to be a manufacturer of special parts.

Times keep changing, so do customers’ demands. Customers seem to have more and more requirements in their drawings. For example, they require more comprehensive multiple geometric tolerances rather than dimensional sizes only. Facing these challenges, Hsin Jui purchased 6-die machines in 2016 to allow for more complicated designs and it also plans to purchase a new 3D measuring equipment to satisfy customers’ demand, which fully reveals the co-existence of quality and precision in Hsin Jui.

Besides focusing on cold forging as its main business, Hsin Jui has also begun to develop secondary processing such as machining, thread rolling and tapping. It develops a one-stop production line within limited floor space with an aim to gain better quality and management. Being certified to TS-16949 this year is the best proof of Hsin Jui’s good quality control.

What is the most required for manufacturing special parts is to establish good communication with customers and find out the best solutions for their demands. As some drawings submitted by customers might not be suitable to be processed by cold forging or might require complicated processing procedures that are likely to delay the lead times, Hsin Jui will offer professional advise based on 4 decades of cold forging experience, and additionally, General manager Hsu will make the most of his creativity that has helped him obtain many patents to improve customers’ designs, creating mutual benefit and recognition from customers. We once helped one of our Japanese customers improve their fastener design. With our new idea, the assembly became even quicker and the final product could be operated more universally and conveniently, not to mention this product with practical usage and fair price became the item with the largest market share in Japan within just a few years.
