Nitto Seiko Co., Ltd has performed well in selling automotive screw fastening device in North America and Southeast Asia, thereby offsetting the loss from exchange rate. The special loss due to alternating production lines has been compensated by selling portfolio investments, and therefore the final profits increased. In October Nitto Seiko will acquire Kyoei Seisaku Co., Ltd, a large screw maker in Nara Prefecture. In the future Nitto Seiko will expand its product line for the construction and automotive industry.
