Expo Nacional Ferretera 2016 with Big Crowds

The annual Expo Nacional Ferretera has again opened its gate at Expo Guadalajara on Sep. 8, 2016 and will last until Sep. 10. Since its 1st edition in 1989, this show has been the most representative int’l hardware show in Latin America. Last year, more than 1,500 exhibitors came to showcase nearly 555,000 types of products with excellent quality and over 80,000 visitors (incl. 23,800 industry professionals) from 35 countries were in attendance, making it one of the most pivotal platforms for the industry. The 60,000 sq. meters floorplan attracted many government officials, hardware retailers and distributors to visit, showing the influence of this show in Latin America. Mexico is located in the south of N. America and plays an important role in connecting N. America and S. America. Moreover, Mexico is the largest economy in Latin America and one of the most open economy in the world. Goods exported through Mexico to USA or Latin America can be subject to low or zero tariffs. With the successful results of the past 26 years, Expo Nacional Ferretera shows increasing exhibitor number, floorplan, and visitors again this year. According to the report of our correspondent, “In the 1st day of the 2016 show, almost all stands were crowded!!! In the area for fasteners, many visitors showed great interest in products of Taiwanese and Chinese exhibitors and many of their stands were crowded with visitors coming to make inquiries. Exhibits of this show include hardware & tools, machinery hardware, sanitary ware, gardening products, lighting materials, etc.”
