Detroit Washers & Specials announced that the company has been awarded ISO/TS16949:2009 certification as administrated by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF).

“This is an important milestone for us,” said Bob Elam, who recently joined Detroit Washers as its new quality manager. “Many of our customers were requesting TS16949 certification for their automotive and heavy truck applications, and we were listening. We’re now able to meet any of our customers’ quality requirements.” The new certification, he said, raises the quality bar even higher for continual improvement, and higher customer satisfaction.
